On Tuesday 12 November, a team from KYBURZ Switzerland Ltd and KYBURZ Australia Pty, consisting of Stefan Breu, Joshua Huston, Cade Butler and Daniel Meier, had the honour of handing over the first DXP 5.3 Australia version equipped with a solar roof-equipped DXP 5.3 Australia version to Nicholas Stürchler, the ambassador of the Swiss Embassy in Australia, and Barbara Gonzenbach, Switzerland's special representative for the Pacific region.

The handover ceremony included a vehicle briefing, test drives by the ambassador and the diplomatic team, and a working lunch at which Swiss-Australian relations and future cooperation opportunities were discussed.

The enthusiasm and joy at the arrival of the innovative vehicle was tangible. Today, almost 4,000 KYBURZ vehicles are in use on Australian roads – mostly with Post Australia – and are making a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions in last-mile delivery.
