Racing blood in your veins: with the KYBURZ PLUS, Janine Landweer takes your to the alp

The Bernese Sumiswald lies far away from the major traffic flows. Janine Landweer lives in a small cottage on top of the hill, with an indescribable view as far as the Alps. "Even as a child I knew: When I grow up, I want a mountain hut" she beams.

Move independently
The enterprising woman has found her place where she feels comfortable. The air, the peace and the good neighborhood allow her to live in her "state". This is what she calls her health situation, which has accompanied her since childhood. Sitting and lying for long periods of time cause pain and stiffness, standing and walking quickly make her tired. Janine Landweer drives electric vehicles from KYBURZ so that she can move independently. "I was able to increase my radius enormously". The daily trips to the village for shopping or to the doctor are a matter of course. At the Emme she walks with her dog "Lili" from one bench to the next. "Actually, I exceed my possibilities every day.

Camera always with me
The possibilities of the KYBURZ vehicles also excite them. With the KYBURZ PLUS, which she calls "Supi- Sum", she drives to one of her favourite places: the Lusalp. The gradients and distances are considerable, but thanks to lithium batteries they can be mastered. "My Supi is reliable and has never let me down, even though I demand it to the extreme. The camera is always with me. Mood-charged shots of the Alps in the evening light or the gentle hills shortly before sunrise prove open eyes. She taught herself photography as well as how to design and create websites. "I do not have a business sense, I do gladly beautiful things for friends. A photo book with pictures of trips with their vehicles is in production and will be available at KYBURZ. A healthy sporting ambition has remained from my former work in horse racing or with sled dogs. Completely unolympic she says: "Participation is not enough! When I do something, I do it right". In photography, she seeks the limits as much as she challenges her own performance and that of her KYBURZ PLUS. "I have racing blood in my veins".
