A day in the life of Jennifer Häusler
Erza Mehmeti: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Jennifer Häusler: I have been with KYBURZ since 01.04.2019.
Erza: What are your activities?
Jenny: I am responsible for telephone support for our partners. If you have questions about our vehicles' electronic problems, I help you find the error.
I test the broken parts that our partners return, and if possible, I repair them or send them back to the manufacturer.
I also make cables for production from time to time. I am also responsible for superior conversions, such as a handlebar with the all-left operation.
Besides, I also take on tasks from development such as the cable drawings or contact with the charger or throttle grip manufacturers.
Erza: What is your typical daily routine?
Jenny: I always get up at 06.00 and go for a 30-45 min walk with my dog Leya. I then arrive at work at about 07.45. First, I look at what is coming up for today, though I usually figure it out the night before. At the moment, it is more the development tasks. I do the testing of defective parts or the production of cables on the side. When the phone rings, I interrupt my work and take care of the partner's problem. Sometimes, after the phone rings, I don't remember what I was working on before, then I move on to something else. During the lunch break, I go for a walk with Leya for 30 minutes to switch off and get some fresh air. This helps me to concentrate well in the afternoon. At about 5:15 p.m., I call it a day and go for another walk with Leya or train with her 3 times a week, depending on the situation.
Erza: What do you like? What do you want less?
Jenny: I like that I have a lot of variety and help people through telephone support or internally.
I wouldn't say I like that it sometimes takes a long time to implement changes. By that, I mean, for example, changes to software together with the manufacturer.
I also miss the service team here in Embrach quite a bit.
Erza: What do you like to do in your free time?
Jenny: In my free time I like to do dog sports. Leya and I train in companion dog sports and Protection Service and pull dog sports. I recently signed up for another dog trainer course and am looking forward to attending the first seminars very soon.
When I am at home, I also like to make dog leashes and collars from different materials.
I also have a hobby garage where I work on my race car (Honda Integra Type-R) and drive it as soon as the races can retake.
