A day in the life of Altin Gashi
Rina Suka: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Altin Gashi: I've been part of the KYBURZ Switzerland AG team for 5 years.
Rina: How did you hear about us back then?
Altin: Through mutual acquaintances who were already in contact with KYBURZ.
Rina: What do you do?
Altin: I'm a driver, I carry out repairs directly on site, pick up our vehicles at certain locations or deliver them back. I used to work in the workshop for a long time, but for the last 1.5 years I've been focussing on driving after I passed my car test.
Rina: What are your strengths?
Altin: I have a good rapport with our customers and good manual skills.
Rina: What is your typical day like?
Altin: My working day generally starts at 7.30 am. Then I go on my tour as planned by the technical scheduling department. I'm usually back by 5.00 p.m. and at the end of the day I load the planned vehicles for the next day.
Rina: What do you like? What do you like less?
Altin: I appreciate the variety of everyday life as a mechanic on tour. Every day brings new challenges and requires new and skilful solutions.
Rina: What do you like to do in your free time?
Altin: I like spending time with my brothers, playing football and doing things with friends, such as going out to eat together.
Rina: You were in the military until recently. What was that like for you? Did it have a special effect on you?
Altin: My time in the military was very instructive and formative. I got to know a lot of new people and made close friends through the intensive teamwork.
Rina: What are your plans for the future?
Altin: I'm taking things in my stride and am open to new things.
