A day in the life of Daniel Meier
Rina Suka: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Daniel Meier: I've been part of the KYBURZ sales team since 6 December 2023.
Rina : How did you hear about us?
Daniel : I became aware of the vacancy through a job advert. However, I was already familiar with the Post vehicles.
Rina: What did you do before KYBURZ?
Daniel : Before KYBURZ, I worked in the mobile phone industry for several years, for example at Samsung and Huawei. I have been in sales for over 24 years and have worked in various areas. I have also worked in product management, sales, marketing and management.
Rina: What is your responsibility?
Daniel: I have taken over responsibility for the countries that were assigned to Wilfried Hahn (former KYBURZ B2B salesman). This includes Germany and Australia in the B2B area, but also other international markets in the future.
Rina : What are your strengths?
Daniel : My strengths lie in my communication skills, teamwork and customer relations. I am a real team player and need people around me.
Rina : What motivates you?
Daniel : I am motivated by the ongoing challenge, new topics, learning new things and gaining new experiences.
Rina: What does your daily routine look like?
Daniel: Basically, I'm always busy very early with meetings with Australia. The time difference always comes into play, but I always manage this well and plan my meetings efficiently throughout the day. My daily schedule is always defined by my clients. So I also have business trips from time to time to advise our international customers in person.
Rina: What do you like? What do you like less?
Daniel: I like the team dynamics in the team, there is a lot going on, many changes, new markets and new customers are being connected. Our teamwork is very good and constructive. My long commute is not ideal, but Google Maps is my best friend for finding the quickest routes.
Rina: What do you like to do in your free time?
Daniel: I spend a lot of time with my family, I play trombone in the village music society and at the weekend I like to enjoy the nice weather with a round of golf.
Rina: What are your plans for the future?
Daniel : I'm always open to new challenges, opening up new countries for the company or making my contribution to the company's success with completely different projects and products.
