KYBURZ DXP approved on Thai roads
A long-awaited and hard-won milestone is a reality: On 10 March 2022, we received the vehicle documents and the number plates in the tricycle category in Thailand.
The DXP 5.0 was adapted to the regulations of the DLT (Department of Land Transport) Road Traffic Office. This was possible thanks to the support of the Swiss Ambassador in Bangkok H.E. Helene Budliger Artieda and the STCC Swiss Thai Chamber. It was a difficult undertaking as no vehicle of this type had ever been registered in Thailand.
The original DXP was rebuilt under the supervision of Oscar Chia Moradi, Managing Director for KYBURZ (Thailand) Co, Ltd, with the help of Martin Mathis, KYBURZ Switzerland AG, to meet the requirements of the DLT.
In the meantime, the local production company KYBURZ (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has been registered and a small production line has been set up to handle upcoming orders in the Asian region.
Thomas Lüscher, our Managing Director KYBURZ Asia Co., Ltd. can now fully concentrate on sales.
