KYBURZ DXP in use at Schazo
The cover story of the latest issue of EKS’s customer magazine ‘on!’ focuses on efficient deliveries using KYBURZ vehicles operated by the Schaffhausen-based delivery organisation Schazo.
“Schazo has been using e-scooters for deliveries since 2010. Only the transport to regional distribution points is still carried out using small vans powered by fossil fuels. Around 80 KYBURZ DXPs are in use every day in Schaffhausen and the surrounding area. ‘We cover around 1,000 kilometres a day,’ says Schazo Managing Director Christian Stamm.
The three-wheeled vehicles are not only manoeuvrable and significantly quieter than cars with combustion engines, they also skid less in winter – not to mention the environmental benefits. Furthermore, deliveries using the KYBURZ DXP are more efficient. “In the past, delivery staff covered an average of five kilometres on foot. Today, with the scooter, that figure is around 10 to 20 kilometres,” explains Stamm. Many of the scooters originally came from the Post Office, were thoroughly refurbished by KYBURZ and are now enjoying a second lease of life.”
KYBURZ is delighted with the report and wishes them continued safe travels!
