Heidi and Willy Lohner about their experiences with the KYBURZ DXS

My wife and I have been married for 56 years and have been living in Uetliburg/SG for a long time, somewhat remotely at 760 m above sea level, in a beautiful panoramic location. Due to old age, we often wondered how we would go on once we were no longer allowed to drive. My eldest sister, who has been enthusiastically driving a KYBURZ DX2 for more than 10 years, gave us the totally right tip to take appropriate precautions. We set high standards for our two KYBURZ DXS and have been totally surprised in every respect. Our expectations have been exceeded by far! We ride on side roads down into the valley, steeply up again to the alps at 1100 to 1200 m altitude and visit many alpine inns that we used to reach on foot. A wonderful feeling of freedom, a super quality of life at our age. Riding an e-bike would be too dangerous for us. People are often amazed that we easily climb such mountains and we can proudly say that our vehicles still have a lot of reserve.

When we arrived home, the batteries were still 70 to 80 % charged (bonus from driving back down). Unbelievable, but true: this quality, this driving comfort, even on bumpy natural roads, the simple and safe operation of the vehicle - we are always amazed. Even on roads with traffic, we feel really safe. We are looking calmly into the future without a car, with the ulterior motive of a closed and heatable KYBURZ Plus II. It may cost money, but the car costs are gone. We can stay here, the mobility, the freedom and the joy of life remain.
