The Horn fire brigade in the canton of Thurgau has added a new vehicle to its fleet: a KYBURZ DXS. The fire brigade was looking for a flexible, CO2-neutral vehicle that was also good value for money. Horn has many secondary roads and a DXS is perfect for closing off roads quickly and efficiently.

On Thursday, 22 April, the time had come: the first general exercise after more than a year took place. A fire with rescue of persons in the community centre had to be dealt with. The traffic platoon immediately set out to close the roads. In addition to the DXS, a Citroën Berlingo is also in use. Pascal Widmer, who was directing traffic with the DXS during the exercise, says: "We were all looking forward to the DXS. It has great acceleration, is agile and really fun to drive. The DXS is perfect for traffic control."

Lothar Seiler was responsible for the purchase of the vehicle.
