A day in the life of Sinan Shabani
Erza Mehmeti: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Sinan Shabani: I have been with KYBURZ since June 2018.
Erza: What are your activities?
Sinan: As a mechanic, I repair vehicles for the post office, as well as for private customers. I also make cost estimates for our customers and for post office vehicles that have been involved in accidents. In between, I'm on tour and repair the vehicles on site. I also supervise the mechanics trainees in the service department.
Erza: What is your typical daily routine?
Sinan: I start at 7.45 a.m. and the first thing I do is check which jobs have been assigned. Accordingly, I bring the vehicle into the workshop and get started. In between, I check if we have any accident vehicles in the "goods inwards" to prepare cost estimates. Depending on the situation, I'm also on the road to repair vehicles on site. In the workshop, I generally work until about 5.15 pm. On the road, the working hours can vary.
Erza: What do you like? What do you like less?
Sinan: I particularly like the work itself, the team and the working hours. There is nothing I don't like, and if there is, then it's just little things that are not relevant.
Erza: What do you like to do in your free time?
Sinan: In my free time I like to do things with my wife and children, such as travelling, playing outside or going for a walk. In the summer we also like to go to the Töss or to the swimming pool. I've also been playing football for 22 years.
Erza: In which club do you play football?
Sinan: I am with FC Embrach. I started with the juniors and later I played in the 1st team for about 13 years. 3 years ago I decided to take it a bit easier and switched to the seniors (Ü30). We have training once a week and a match on Fridays.
