Well-attended open day
For the first time since moving in April, KYBURZ ‘officially’ opened its doors to the public as part of its open day.
The excitement among employees was already high in the week leading up to the event. The new location offers new opportunities for this event, but also organisational challenges. The aim is for guests to feel comfortable and get an impression of what everyday life is like for KYBURZ employees in production, service, sales and administration. Of course, interested parties and customers are also welcome at KYBURZ outside of an open day.
Well over 1,000 visitors took the opportunity to tour the building and learn about KYBURZ's products, processes and services. The employees at the barbecue, the drinks counter, the ice cream van and the Thai curry stand had their hands full.
The offer to explore the new – and spacious – building in a KYBURZ vehicle was so popular that there were waiting times. The presentations and guided tours on offer attracted a large and interested audience.
Former neighbours from Freienstein visited KYBURZ, as did new neighbours from Embrach.
There were countless encounters with suppliers, service providers and customers. Martin Kyburz and the KYBURZ employees were particularly delighted to see old acquaintances. One customer, who has been driving a KYBURZ vehicle for 28 years, surprised everyone.
A photo gallery of the open day will be linked in the next issue of the company newsletter.
