Traconiq AG, a joint venture between KYBURZ Switzerland AG and Planzer Transport AG, has developed innovative electronics for automatic trailer detection on lorries. The system enables precise and automated recording of the total weight, even with the new LSVA III devices – without any manual intervention or error-prone additional systems.

The performance-related heavy vehicle fee (LSVA) is a key instrument of Swiss transport policy. It is based on the total weight of the vehicle combination, including any trailers, and the distance travelled.

The solution has proven itself in everyday use and ensures greater efficiency, data security and billing accuracy.

On 26 September 2025, Traconiq AG received ZNA certification (customs and commercial vehicle authorities), and nothing stands in the way of series production. Traconiq AG will take over the marketing and distribution of the solution from today.
