A day in the life of Scott Clements
Rania: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Scott: Since 1 February 2025.
Rania: What are your responsibilities?
Scott: I am the deputy logistics manager and I take care of production deliveries.
Rania: How did you come across KYBURZ?
Scott: Through Swiss Post – I was interested in logistics that supplies production.
Rania: What made you decide to work at KYBURZ, and how does this job differ from your previous ones?
Scott: The dynamic team and the opportunity to introduce changes in processes and procedures.
Rania: Which task during your week do you find particularly exciting?
Scott: I find our task optimisation meetings the most exciting. We look at how processes and procedures can be improved and simplified.
Rania: What was your first impression when you started at KYBURZ?
Scott: Everyone gets on well, and compared to the old location, the warehouse there was rather chaotic – now in the new building, it is much better organised.
Rania: Which skill or strength helps you most in your everyday work?
Scott: My quick comprehension and thirst for knowledge.
Rania: What does a successful working day look like for you?
Scott: When everything is in its right place.
Rania: Can you share a personal hobby or passion?
Scott: I spend a lot of time out and about with my dog and my future wife, or I ride my bike wherever I feel like going.
Rania: Where do you see yourself in five years, professionally or personally?
Scott: I'm starting my further training as a certified process engineer HF next August and would like to complete it successfully. After that, I'll let myself be surprised by where life takes me.
