A year earlier, the organising committee had wanted to book the Christmas dinner on a boat on Lake Zurich. However, due to high demand, the desired date was fully booked. This made the organising committee all the more excited for this year. Under the motto ‘KYBURZ Ahoy’, the team planned an unforgettable evening on the Panta Rhei.

"The five of us, plus photographer Jeton, were allowed to board the Panta Rhei at the Wollishofen shipyard. We were given a very warm welcome and were able to move around the ship freely. We decorated the beautifully prepared tables with a few Christmas touches and waited at Bürkliplatz for our colleagues to come on board. In the meantime, Fillo (the sixth OK member) welcomed the employees at Bürkliplatz.

To create a good atmosphere on board right from the start, we handed out fun accessories such as reindeer ears, Santa hats, Christmas tree glasses and Rudolph ties as everyone came on board. The crew of the Panta Rhei also provided excellent service. The four-course menu was carefully prepared and served. Compliments – everything went wonderfully."
