Every year, they build a new racing car and compete against international teams in Formula Student. Students at Bern University of Applied Sciences in Biel put their knowledge into practice as the Bern Racing Team (BRT).

A delegation visited KYBURZ and presented the team, their approach and their results. A lively exchange with the developers at KYBURZ during lunch and the tour in Embrach strengthened the relationship.

While KYBURZ develops vehicles for long-term use and series production, the BRT clearly focuses on performance. In the competitive environment of Formula Student, every kilogramme of mass and every kilogramme of downforce counts.

KYBURZ has been supporting BRT for years. This commitment is repeatedly demonstrated in practical terms through networks and contacts. In their bachelor's and master's theses, students have already developed solutions to problems that there was no time to address internally. The eRod was also largely the result of such work. Former BRT members work in the development department.

KYBURZ is delighted with the exchange, looks forward to the unveiling of this year's racing car and wishes the team every success in 2026.
