The German Institute for Quality Promotion (DIQ) invited Dr. Frieder Herb to speak in person to an audience of approximately 250 experts and automotive professionals about “The Use of Batteries in Last-Mile Delivery and KYBURZ’s Life Cycle Concept.”

Drawing on his many years of experience in battery and vehicle development, Frieder demonstrated how lightweight electric vehicles, fleet management, route optimization, and TCO considerations contribute to cost-effective and resource-efficient delivery. Particular emphasis was placed on the KYBURZ circular economy approach: vehicles and batteries are used across multiple phases of use, remanufactured, and recycled as comprehensively as possible.
