eRod production new in Embrach: manufactory opened very close to the head office

The new production hall for the eRod is located just a few kilometres from the main factory in Freienstein. "We can no longer build all our vehicles in Freienstein", explains Martin KYBURZ, "we are taking this step to be able to work cleanly with sufficient space". It is clear that this must be celebrated with a celebration.

The festival was held at the end of April. The free tour of the workshop was very well received, but for many visitors the focus was on a test drive with the eRod. "Cool, when you accelerate it really pushes you into your seat", a young man sums up his experience, his corners of his mouth reach almost to his ears when laughing.

“It's a manufactory and you should see it. Good and modern lighting makes working easier. We have many exciting customers here," says Martin Kyburz. He addresses the construction seminars, where customers can use the KYBURZ mechanics themselves. In the hall stood the first eRod, assembled by a woman, Béatrice Cibien.

Retreat to the eRod lounge
The eRod experience also includes a lounge. Discreetly lit next to a large sofa is a bar and racks on which components can be inspected individually. A place of retreat from mechanical work and a place for animated conversations. "The eRod has now achieved a certain independence in Embrach," says Martin Kyburz and adds: "We are happy that we were able to find rooms so close. The "father" wants to watch his children grow up...

The sausages were eaten, the music faded away. Those interested in eRod are still welcome for test drives. And in the new workshop the work is on the agenda. Enthusiastic customers don't want to wait long for their eRod and with the "open day" in Freienstein on 1st September the next party is already on the agenda.
