Disposal with Fleet Data
"Ideenschmitte" is written above the entrance to the former pharmacy in the center of Münchenbuchsee. In the shop window, waste bins in a wide variety of designs are for sale. But the important thing happens in the heads at the big table. That's where plans for the future are born and immediately put into action. "Our service business is our big laboratory," explains mastermind This Schwendimann. "The developments are to become our core business."
Waste disposal is subject to constant change. Collecting bags at the roadside with a truck is only part of the service. Today, refuse containers are automatically weighed, and the data for billing is automatically assigned to the correct household. Schwendimann AG was the first company in Switzerland to offer this service in 1991.

KYBURZ FLEET MANAGEMENT in use
In Münchenbuchsee, 37 vehicles are equipped with a fleet box from KYBURZ Switzerland and provide valuable data. "In addition to the location and speed, we can see when and where the truck's press is running, when the loader is on the running board, and we can also always see the axle load of the various axles," explains Manuel Wyss.
In Zermatt, Schwendimann disposes of waste under the name "System Alpine Air." The 50 collection containers are all equipped with a compressor. This allows consideration to be given to the tight space conditions. Thanks to a reduced volume on-site, fewer trips are necessary. An electric side loader handles a variety of transport, loading, and lifting tasks in Zermatt. "At the moment, we are the only ones who have key figures for such an operation," Schwendimann proudly tells us and sees possible applications for the system throughout the country.
Schwendimann at major events
Schwendimann can regularly be found at the Federal Gymnastics Festival in Aarau, the Gurten Festival, and many other well-known events. Already in the waiting area in front of the entrance, there are dozens of self-developed waste stations. PET, aluminum, glass, and trash are collected separately. For the removal through the crowds, This Schwendimann uses a KYBURZ DXS. "It's fast and mobile. It collects tons of PET."
