The Australia DXP 21, Successor to the Current DXP 20
Side-by-side Comparison

DXP 20
Motor: 0.9 kW rated output, 3.6 kW max. output
Torque: 23 Nm
Battery: 240 Ah, 26 V, 6.24 kWh
Motor Software: Version DXP 20
Top Speed: 45 km/h
Acceleration: 2.5 m/s2
Range: 57 km

DXP 21
Motor: 2.7 kW rated output, 7.5 kW max. output
Torque: 45 Nm
Battery: 270 Ah, 26 V, 7.02 kWh
Motor Software: Version DXP 21 (optimized)
Top Speed: 50 km/h
Acceleration: 3.5 m/s2
Range: 70 km
New Speed: 50 km/h
The higher top speed of 50 km/h was achieved by choosing a significantly more powerful electric motor.
This video shows the measurement in our test facility, which simulates a slight incline of about 5 %.
Result: the DXP 21 needs much less time to reach the new top speed of 50 km/h. This increased speed was verified in exhaustive field tests.
24 % More Range
Although the new DXP 21 vehicle is equipped with a more powerful motor, the range in urban stop-and-go operation has been significantly increased by up to 24 %.
Much Stronger Acceleration
The vehicle is a sportier ride, which was achieved by using a larger motor and optimized software.
The Benefits of Fleet Management
This video introduces opportunities for smart fleet management with the help of our Fleet Management Software. The KYBURZ software is especially designed for postal companies with large fleets and is a leading system worldwide.
New Sprung Seat Gives More Room for the Legs
The new development of the sprung seat allows a space gain of about 5 cm to the rear. This significantly improves the space for the legs of tall people.
Groundbreaking Battery Recycling Process and Facility
KYBURZ has developed a groundbreaking new approach to recycling LI batteries. The new system is already in use in Switzerland. We are happy to pass on our know-how to partners in Australia.
The process makes it possible to extract over 90% of the materials that make up the battery as high-quality raw materials. These are more or less all the solid parts of a battery cell. Only the liquid electrolyte is no longer reprocessed.
Rough Road Capability
We have developed enhanced rough road capabilities on a new prototype: the DXP RR. RR stads for "rough road".
To make this model perform even better on uneven roads, the front and rear suspension have been completely redesigned and optimized. The result is an improved vehicle stability when driving on rough roads and thus a safer ride on these roads.
