A day in the life of Lothar Seiler

After seventeen years at Post Company Cars AG, I probably knew all the processes and control levers on the inside of that large organization. My realization was all the more sobering, when I noticed that the dashboard is arranged differently at KYBURZ Switzerland AG. I had to get to know many people and departments, rummage through vast amounts of documents, understand a wide variety of processes, and make friends with the "Pachi." Fortunately, I was surrounded by people who were always willing to help me in word and deed. Therefore, I would like to thank all my colleagues for their support.

With the necessary basics in my luggage, I could finally turn to my desired activities - the sale of our products and services. In this regard, I asked myself the crucial question of reaching potential buyers, especially since inquiries from interested parties by telephone were extremely sparse. Nevertheless, more than half of the offers we have received so far have resulted in an order for a vehicle and, fortunately, no interested party has yet rejected our offer.

To win new customers, I have decided to make active telephone canvassing, which is time-consuming and rarely leads to spontaneous business but does contain valuable address material for further activities. Nevertheless, I prepared isolated communities for a future vehicle presentation, which I will follow up as soon as the current Corona situation allows it again.

Another highlight was, of course, my first vehicle handover to a municipality in eastern Switzerland, not least because the Werkhof employees really enjoy using their KYBURZ DXS and are said to always have a lot of fun with it. The handover of three KYBURZ DXS and PAH-K to the Werkdienst of the city of Lucerne, which I carried out together with Jürg Geiser, was also exciting. After the three Werkhof employees present learned about my professional past, the conversation really got going. There were questions about the vehicles, views on the post office, and much more.

Looking back, I can say that I have already had the opportunity to get to know many new and interesting people at KYBURZ Switzerland AG. Now I am looking forward to our cooperation, in which we will tackle further projects hand in hand.
