Area-wide weather data
With the DXP Weather Station, it is possible for the first time to collect weather data over longer periods of time in the sense of "Big Data". In addition to the three geographical dimensions (longitude, latitude, altitude above sea level), time is added as a fourth dimension to the data set.
The following weather data are registered at each measuring point:
Temperature (± 0.15 K at 25°C)
Light (Lux)
Relative humidity (at 25°C)
Rain values (yes/no)
Air quality (particles per liter)
The evaluation of the weather data can be retrieved from KYBURZ Fleet Management.

Benefit
Suppliers are predestined to collect weather data because their vehicles are regularly on the road throughout Switzerland. They can then make the information available to interested companies for a fee.
