A day in the life of Cade Butler
Kaito: When did you start at KYBURZ Pty Ltd?
Cade: I started my journey with KYBURZ Pty Ltd in September 2021.
Kaito: What is your area of responsibility?
Cade: I am the Service Manager at KYBURZ Pty Ltd.
Kaito: What made you decide to take on this role at KYBURZ?
Cade: The opportunity to work on a product in a growth area such as green mobility attracted me to the position at KYBURZ. I'm also a big gadget fan. I love playing with new technologies and seeing how they work.
Kaito: What do you find the most exciting part of your day-to-day work and why is it particularly exciting for you?
Cade: The most exciting part of my usual working week is supporting our service partners in diagnosing and solving complex problems with our DXP vehicles. Solving these challenging problems gives me a deep sense of fulfilment. Plus, our Monday morning coffee meetings with the team are always a great way to start the week on a positive note.
Kaito: Can you tell us about a personal passion or hobby of yours?
Cade: Outside of work, my favourite thing is spending time with my three children. I also enjoy the outdoors, good food and live entertainment. Interestingly, I used to brew my own beer and make salami, so in my spare time I spend a lot of time in my shed making things to drink or eat.
Kaito: What do you think is the main difference between the workplace and everyday culture in Australia and Switzerland?
Cade: I've learnt that we are very similar culturally, like most cultures in the world, if you just look beneath the surface.
Kaito: What is one area within the company that you think has great potential for growth or improvement in the future?
Cade: As the average age of the world's population tends to increase, I see a small, electric self-mobility vehicle like the Plus II as the biggest growth area.
Kaito: Which of the vehicles in our product range stands out the most for you and what do you like about them?
Cade: Whilst I really appreciate the functionality of our DXP and DXC ranges, what makes the eRod stand out for me is its sheer driving pleasure. I can't help but visualise myself taking it for a thrilling ride through the picturesque landscapes of the Alps.
