HUKA - after 20 years of partnership our cooperation ends
At the end of the year, the sales cooperation between KYBURZ and HUKA will end. While KYBURZ had sold the Pendel power wheelchair in Switzerland, HUKA had sold our DX2 and MaXX vehicles in the Netherlands. The cooperation had a long history. In 1999, I met Sander van Dooren - the owner of the Freewiel company - at a trade fair. Our companies were the same size, we had the same passions and we often enjoyed exchanging ideas about technical matters and sales activities. The Freewiel company distributed my CLASSIC vehicle line and we sold the Pendel he developed in Switzerland. Our partnership was strengthened by the German distributor Hoening, based in Leonberg near Stuttgart. In the course of time, Freewiel bought Hoening. KYBURZ remained a distribution partner. Sander then decided to sell his companies to the Dutch company Fittform, which manufactures furniture for senior citizens. KYBURZ remained a distribution partner. Fittform then sold the vehicle line of the Dutch company HUKA. KYBURZ remained a distributor. A Scandinavian investor bought HUKA and appointed a new managing director. Now HUKA has decided to part with all electrically powered vehicles. Thus, the 20-year cooperation comes to an end.
We thank the managing director on behalf of the many interesting events and the long constructive cooperation. HUKA will continue to serve its customers as a service partner and the KYBURZ line will continue to be distributed in the Netherlands by our partner Helmstadt (new GreenMo). Michael Mica from Helmstadt has already been our service partner for several years.
