A day in the life of Joriek Abreu
Erza Mehmeti: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Joriek Abreu: I have been with KYBURZ since 2012.
Erza: What are your activities?
Joriek: I am the head of PLUS production at Industriestrasse. We not only produce PLUS vehicles here, but also trailers and eTrolleys.
Erza: What is your typical daily routine?
Joriek: I always start work between 07:00 and 07:30. When we have gathered in the team, I distribute the production orders and the pre-assembly orders. I have already set the priorities the night before. Then I make orders and we get the material from the warehouse for pre-assembly. I work 80% of the time at PLUS and check the finished orders and vehicles. Every now and then I'm also at meetings. We work very closely with purchasing and development, which also has to do with the orders and when there are specials. There may be a special order that has a high priority. We then discuss this with the purchasing department. I always work until around 4.00/16.30 pm.
Erza: What do you like? What do you like less?
Joriek: What I like very much is that it is never boring and the work is very varied. You gain a different experience with every vehicle.
What I like less is the distance between the different locations.
Erza: What do you like to do in your free time?
Joriek: Dancing is my passion. But I also like to do weight training or go mountain biking. I also spend a lot of time with my children.
