A day in the life of Daniel Weber
Erza Mehmeti: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Daniel Weber: I have been with KYBURZ since March 2013.
Erza: What are your activities?
Daniel: I started as a project manager in development and since mid-2019 I have been working as a team leader in further development. In addition to model upgrades of DXP, DXS and DX2, I am responsible, with strong support from Claudia Fesch, for various vehicle approval topics such as type approvals and individual approvals in Switzerland.
Erza: What is your typical daily routine?
Daniel: First I check my emails and work on them. Then there is often a meeting, such as our weekly team meeting or a brainstorming session, where we work out ideas and solutions to technical challenges in a small group. The rest of the day I work on my own projects and tasks.
Erza: What do you like? What do you like less?
Daniel: I particularly like the varied range of activities. I also appreciate the flexibility of the company in terms of working hours and part-time work, as I also only work 80%. I also like the working atmosphere and the helpfulness among the employees.
I find it a pity that we are spatially separated with the three locations, which makes uncomplicated personal exchange among the departments difficult.
Erza: What do you like to do in your free time?
Daniel: I like to spend my free time with family and friends. When the weather is nice, I'm out on my bike or you can meet me outside working in the garden.
