A day in the life of Joshua Zimmermann
Erza Mehmeti: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Joshua Zimmermann: I have been with KYBURZ for 4 years.
Erza: What are your activities?
Joshua: I work as a logistician at KYBURZ. In logistics I do everything except shuttling. I do the incoming goods, prepare internal material orders and for production, and I am also responsible for shipping. In addition, I am also a hazardous goods and environmental officer. I only work 60% because I'm still studying to be an industrial engineer at the ZHAW. I'm there on Mondays and Thursdays.
Erza: What is your typical daily routine?
Joshua: I usually start at 7 am and am here until about 4.30 pm. In the morning I always do the parcels from the post office first and then book them in. Throughout the day I load vehicles, fill up the production or set up pre-assemblies. Roughly speaking, I make sure the shop runs smoothly.
Erza: What do you like? What not so much?
Joshua: I really like the team and that I can work flexibly.
What I like less is that there is a lack of communication and that everything has to be done 2-3 times. I also think that the work we do could be appreciated more.
Erza: What do you like to do in your free time?
Joshua: In my free time I like to play badminton and football. I am in a corporate football league called TSV Gaswerk. I also like to go out for a drink with friends. We also have a cat that always keeps us on our toes.
