A day in the life of Heiko Grätzer
Erza Mehmeti: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Heiko Grätzer: I have been with KYBURZ for just over two happy years.
Erza: How did you hear about us?
Heiko: My job coach advisor got in touch with a colleague of Martin Kyburz. Then I received an email from Luca Botta (2ndLife project manager). At the beginning, I immediately noticed that I had seen the KYBURZ logo somewhere before - ah postal vehicles! Out of curiosity, I searched for KYBURZ on the Internet and it really electrified me.
Erza: What did you do before KYBURZ?
Heiko: I worked in different companies as a CNC operator, factory mechanic, polymechanic or as an assembly mechanic.
Erza: What are your activities?
Heiko: In the beginning I worked in the 2ndLife department. Now I am responsible for the production processes of the PAH-F trailers.
Erza: What are your strengths?
Heiko: I would say my strengths are my quick perception, my skill and my good memory.
Erza: What is your typical daily routine?
Heiko: Every morning I check my mails, start with the preparations and begin with the PAH-F production. After production ends around 4.30 pm, I check the material stock so that everything is ready for the next day's production.
Erza: What do you like? What do you like less?
Heiko: I particularly like the KYBURZ team. It's very familiar - everyone is very friendly and everyone is accepted just as they are and everyone is very helpful.
What I like less are the three locations.
Erza: What do you like to do in your free time?
Heiko: If the weather is good, I go biking in the mountains with my colleagues - battery-powered, of course. I love travelling around the world with my family. Sometimes I play poker with my colleagues.
Erza: What are your plans for the future?
Heiko: That's hard to say, because I'm not a dreamer and I like to look at the present. My wish is that I can stay with KYBURZ as long as possible, because the activities are very interesting and I like to master challenges.
