A day in the life of Walter Bühler
Erza Mehmeti: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Walter Bühler: I have been with KYBURZ since 01.06.2014.
Erza: How did you hear about us?
Walter: I found out about KYBURZ via the Internet.
Erza: What did you do before KYBURZ?
Walter: I completed an apprenticeship as a motorbike mechanic and then worked as an insulation technician after my apprenticeship. I then applied for a job at KYBURZ and after 3 months I was contacted by Martin Jerg, who hired me as a service technician.
Erza: What are your activities?
Walter: I work as a deputy workshop manager in the service department. My tasks include cost estimates and repairs on all our vehicles, as well as stock management.
Erza: What motivates you?
Walter: I am especially motivated by the team, because all the people are very helpful.
Erza: What is your typical daily routine?
Walter: I always arrive at about 7.30 a.m. and the first thing I do is check which orders are registered with me. Zopfi is responsible for workshop planning. At about 11.00 a.m. I check what material we still need and then order it. Then I take care of the daily business for the rest of the day.
Erza: What do you like? What do you like less?
Walter: I really like the fact that we can use the infrastructure in our free time.
There is nothing I don't like. However, I think it's a pity that we haven't had an open day for a while.
Erza: What do you like to do in your free time?
Walter: In my free time I like to go hiking with my family.
Erza: What are your plans for the future?
Walter: I would love to take a bigger trip to America.
