Erza Mehmeti: How long have you been with KYBURZ?

Astrit Qollakaj: I have been with KYBURZ since 18 July 2022.

Erza: How did you hear about us?

Astrit: I have known the company for about 10 years through my uncle Ali Shabani.

Erza: What did you do before KYBURZ?

Astrit: I did my apprenticeship as a logistician at Zurich Airport. After I finished my apprenticeship, I continued to gain work experience in logistics in different companies.  

Erza: What are your activities?

Astrit: I mainly work on the production line. However, I can also work in the pre-assembly, in the assembly of the boxes, but also with the batteries. On the production line, I'm mostly at assembly station 3, but I'm also proficient at workplaces from 1 to 4.

Erza: What are your strengths?

Astrit: My strengths are my willingness to help and that I am very communicative and authentic.

Erza: What motivates you?

Astrit: I am motivated by the fact that I get to contribute to the production of vehicles, whether nationally or internationally.

Erza: What is your typical daily routine?

Astrit: I always start at 7 a.m. and go to my assigned workplace.  Then I prepare everything and quickly start working. Depending on the customer, we have different times to finish the job. If it happens that I finish before the given time is up, I help out at other places. This goes on until 4 pm.

Erza: What do you like? What do you like less?

Astrit: I really like the work I do and the idea of the company. What I like less is the lack of communication among the staff. There are many disagreements.

Erza: What do you like to do in your free time?

Astrit: I used to like playing football, but unfortunately I can't do that any more because I tore my cruciate ligaments. Today, I like to go out with my family or do something with my friends or my fiancée.

Erza: What are your plans for the future?

Astrit: In the company KYBURZ my plan is to develop myself. In my private life, I will get married on 22 July 2023, move in with my fiancée and eventually start a family.
