A day in the life of Burhan Shoshaj
Erza Mehmeti: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Burhan Shoshaj: I have been with KYBURZ for about a year.
Erza: How did you hear about us?
Burhan: Since I live in Freienstein, I have always seen KYBURZ vehicles and also employees, so I became aware of the company and informed myself and then applied.
Erza: What did you do before KYBURZ?
Burhan: Before I came to KYBURZ, I was a pastry chef in a bakery and then moved to a shipping company where I delivered various goods.
Erza: What are your activities?
Burhan: I work in the production department at Tannenstrasse, where I do the workplaces from 1 to 6. I am now also learning the assembly stations 7 and 8, so that I can also work there. In addition, I have already pre-assembled the boxes for the Australian Post.
Erza: What motivates you?
Burhan: I am motivated by the team on the production line and also by the freedom you have in the company. I feel very comfortable here and I really enjoy working here.
Erza: What is your typical daily routine?
Burhan: I always arrive at the company at around 7 a.m., after which we have a meeting where we are assigned to our respective workplaces. After that, I start working at my post until the lunch break. Over lunch, thanks to my short commute, I go home and enjoy the short break with my family. Then I work at my post all afternoon until about 4 pm.
Erza: What do you like? What do you like less?
Burhan: I particularly like the team and the working atmosphere, as well as the work I do.
What I like less is when we have material bottlenecks in order to be able to produce the vehicles.
Erza: What do you like to do in your free time?
Burhan: In my free time I like to do things with my colleagues. I also like to spend time with my family, such as going to the swimming pool together or hiking.
Erza: What are your plans for the future?
Burhan: My future plans in the company are to learn more new things and in my private life I would like to travel and explore new places.
