A day in the life of Kaito Mötteli
Rina Suka: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Kaito: I have been with KYBURZ since August 2022.
Rina: How did you hear about us?
Kaito: I was looking for a commercial apprenticeship and found KYBURZ on one of the many job portals. I already knew the vehicles, but where they came from was rather a mystery to me at the time.
Rina: What did you do before KYBURZ?
Kaito: Before I started the apprenticeship, I went to tenth grade after finishing secondary school. The tenth school year gives all young people a second chance to find and apply for jobs again.
Rina: What do you do?
Kaito: I look after our customers on the phone, as well as by e-mail, prepare offers and order confirmations, report back delivery notes, enter addresses and send out test drive day flyers. Every day I have special tasks where I can learn a lot and fiddle around.
Rina: What are your strengths?
Kaito: I pay attention to my surroundings, I'm motivated, I'm very conscientious and I like to look for solutions. In practice, I know a few areas of the data system quite well. I have gained the most experience in the sales module, the vehicle master module and the address master module.
Rina: What motivates you?
Kaito: I am motivated by going to school and work every week. I play one role at work and play another role at school. Improve in both roles and have different commitments/goals.
Rina: What is your typical daily routine?
Kaito: The very first thing I do is upload the used, demo, stock and rental list for our mobility consultants. I answer the first few phones, process e-mail enquiries and enter order confirmations. I also cancel and redeem vehicle passes.
Rina: What do you like? What not so much?
Kaito: I like the product range at KYBURZ. Such great, practical, energetic vehicles, which I really like to deal with. I don't like the connection to Freienstein; I live in Winterthur and would save a lot of time if the connection were a lot more effective. This will certainly change as soon as I go to work by car.
Rina: What do you like to do in your free time?
Kaito: In my free time I like to spend time with my friends/family. Among other things, I play video games as a hobby and currently play volleyball in the second men's team, where I am also the youngest.
Rina: What are your plans for the future?
Kaito: Far in the future, I would like to have my own restaurant, specialising in Japanese cuisine. For this, I have to successfully complete my apprenticeship for the first time and save a lot of money over the years.
