A day in the life of Cédric Leuba
Rina Suka: How long have you been with KYBURZ?
Cédric Leuba: I've been employed by KYBURZ for three years. But I've been working as a service partner for Swiss Post on KYBURZ vehicles since 2011.
Rina: How did you hear about us?
Cédric: I was self-employed for 25 years with my business Pro2roues and repaired two-wheeled vehicles for Swiss Post. When Swiss Post started working with KYBURZ, I naturally heard about the company.
Rina: What are your activities at KYBURZ?
Cédric: My work at KYBURZ consists of selling our vehicles to private and business customers. I am also part of the after-sales service, as I continue to repair the fleet of vehicles that were previously allocated to my business, only now on behalf of KYBURZ.
Rina: What did you do before KYBURZ?
Cédric: I did an apprenticeship as a car mechanic and worked in this profession for another 10 years. I then became self-employed and founded the company Pro2roues.
Rina: What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your free time?
Cédric: I love diving and sport shooting. I'm also a keen ice hockey player and skier, although I haven't done much of that for a few years now.
Rina: What are your strengths?
Cédric: I am meticulous and love to do a good job. That's why I set high standards for myself and others.
Rina: What motivates you?
Cédric: I like the versatility of this job. Every day is different.
Rina: What does a typical day look like?
Cédric: No two days are the same. Every day is different, it's very varied. It's impossible for me to plan a typical day, as I always have to be available to repair the vehicles at Swiss Post. Unforeseen events are part of my everyday life.
Rina: What do you like? What don't you like so much?
Cédric: I like the independence I have in the company. I'm not an office person and administration is not my strong point. Fortunately, my colleagues in Freienstein are there to support me!
Rina: What are your plans for the future?
Cédric: I want to continue to increase my sales figures and at the same time look after my "little old people", who sometimes give me grey hair. I also want to work well with my colleagues.
