A day in the life of Sarah Durscher
Rina Suka: How long have you been at KYBURZ?
Sarah Durscher: I've been with KYBURZ since August 2023.
Rina: How did you hear about us?
Sarah: Towards the end of my trip around the world last year, I started looking for a job so that I could start work as soon as I got back to Switzerland. I found out about KYBURZ through the job advert.
Rina: What did you do before KYBURZ?
Sarah: I was travelling for over a year before I came to KYBURZ - during my trip I worked in a bar and on a farm in Australia. Before travelling, I worked for a recycling company as an admin all-rounder at reception and before that I worked for a promotional products company in customer service.
Rina: What do you do?
Sarah: My main activities in marketing are organising company management, creating and publishing advertisements, labelling vehicles and general marketing tasks.
Rina: What are your strengths?
Sarah: My strengths lie in organisation and design.
Rina: What motivates you?
Sarah: The team, the varied daily routine and the diversity of my tasks.
Rina: What is your typical daily routine?
Sarah: I don't have a typical daily routine. The most typical thing about my daily routine is that I check my emails every morning. This results in a lot of tasks and where my focus and prioritisation will be for the day.
Rina: What do you like? What do you like less?
Sarah: I really like the variety of my work and, of course, our vehicles.
Rina: What do you like to do in your free time?
Sarah: In my free time, I do Crossfit, go for walks with my grooming horse or do things with my friends.
Rina: What are your plans for the future?
Sarah: I don't really plan my future - I'm more of a spontaneous person and let things happen to me.
