On 7 November, KYBURZ once again took part in the ‘Ab in die Zukunft’ (Off into the Future) symposium organised by System Alpenluft AG in Münchenbuchsee. It is aimed at the heads of municipal depots in Switzerland, who are offered suggestions for the electrification of their vehicle fleets and the optimisation of depot processes in a playful way on this day.

KYBURZ hosted one of the event's eight stations. In groups of four, the participants were ‘allowed’ to search the entire event site for the four different elements of KYBURZ battery recycling – on the road in KYBURZ DXS vehicles with municipal service equipment, with and without trailers. With these ‘finds’ of a real circular economy – aluminium, copper, lithium iron phosphate and graphite – the just over 30 participants were able to score points in the challenge of the day.

Sales manager Bernd Brockmeier and B2B sales representative Dominik von Arb enjoyed the driving fun, the ‘spirit of discovery’ and the product feedback from the municipal depot managers. The ‘Alpenluft-Event’ has become an established platform for KYBURZ to exchange ideas on sustainable and efficient solutions for municipal depots.
