The eRod is a scientific and research object in Belgium
Siemens Belgium has developed a tool for battery design in electric vehicles. On a new homepage, Siemens not only shows these tools, but also provides a cool application: Anyone can use their mobile phone to place their Simrod (as the eRod is called at Siemens) in the desired environment: In the office or, for a better introduction, in the car park at home. The KU Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit) in Flanders is 600 years old this year and was honoured by Reuters as the ‘most innovative university in Europe’. On ‘Science Day’, visitors can see how a hurricane is formed or how a car is built. Local television reported on the event and also put the eRod in the best light.
