The Swiss electric vehicle manufacturer KYBURZ-Switzerland is following a completely new approach worldwide with its latest offspring, the eRod:

The concept was initiated several years ago by Martin Kyburz, the founder and CEO of KYBURZ-Switzerland, and consistently pursued.
In cooperation with the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Department of Automotive Engineering under Dipl. Ing. Sebastian Tobler, the concept was advanced to prototype maturity with the help of semester and diploma theses. FH Bern graduate Daniel Wenger, together with his team at KYBURZ-Switzerland, led the project to series maturity in record time.
