Driving studio in Lugnez: thanks to two KYBURZ vehicles, the enthusiastic painters is mobile in all weathers
"I do everything with my KYBURZ vehicles, I always need them even to drive to the bus stop."
Heini Grüebler drives a KYBURZ CLASSIC and a PLUS.
His eyes are attentive and lively even with his old age, his language precise and his mind full of creative ideas. Heini Grüebler in Lumbrein is an exciting conversational partner. As head decorator of the Globus department store at the end of the 1960s, the trained decorator helped to shape the modern way of presenting goods. He designed shop windows, entire shops and restaurants, but also pavilions abroad on behalf of the Swiss trade headquarters. He spent several months in Casablanca, Tripoli, Accra or Barcelona to show Switzerland in its best light at exhibitions.
Piz Terri from all angles
After his retirement, painting took him from the Züribiet to Lugnez. He brought the striking Piz Terri to the canvas from various perspectives and in a wide variety of lighting. His KYBURZ vehicle "is a driving studio for me". The easel is quickly folded up and another picture or sketch is created. The creative spirit has become practically established.
Limousine und cabriolet
Heini Grüebler's health is physically slowing down today. The 87-year-old tires quickly and walks only short distances on foot. Since he no longer felt safe by car in 2010, a KYBURZ CLASSIC has been standing in his garage. Last winter's cold weather prompted him, after being encouraged by one of his sons, to buy an additional KYBURZ PLUS. "As I grew older, I froze more and more," he says and remarks with Schalk: "Now it's great, I have a limousine and a cabriolet.
Small gallery shop
"I do everything with my vehicles, always need them, even to drive to the bus stop. Today, the vehicles are very important for my quality of life. Heini Grüebler uses his creativity not only for painting. So that he can continue to live independently, he equips himself and organises himself. His small gallery shop, in which he sells pictures and rock crystals, is still open upon registration - and this should remain so for a long time to come.
